Getting Ready for Your First Driving Lesson

The first lesson is usually the one learners worry about most, and it is almost always easier than expected. We start slowly, in a quiet area, and we do not move on until you feel ready.
Bring your learner permit and wear comfortable, flat shoes. If you wear glasses for driving, bring those too. Everything else is provided.
Your first session focuses on the basics: getting comfortable with the seat and mirrors, understanding the controls, and getting a feel for steering and braking at low speed. There is no pressure to cover a set amount of ground.
If nerves are a concern, tell us before the lesson. We can adjust the pace, choose quieter streets, and break each skill into smaller steps.
